German WW2 Kübelwagen

August 2021
This was a Kübelwagen model prop I made as a LP asset for scenes. A personal project with a quick timeframe, If I was to do it over, I would add in the headlights and redo the wheel normals with a better HP mesh. Technically it's not missing anything as these vehicles had all sorts of accessories either present or missing.

Probably one of the most famous ww2 German vehicle, it was the axis equivalent of the "Jeep", with a production run of over 50,000 units which ended in 1945. It was nevertheless the brainchild of genius engineer Ferdinand Porsche and was apparently named after its bucket seats rather than the open space of the vehicle which entire strength was in the chassis. Simple, reliable, rugged, with good cross-country performances, cheap and tailored for mass-production the Volkswagen Type 86 was everything needed for a versatile standard liaison/staff/recce/utility vehicle of the Wehrmacht.

This model is Production Ready, Rigged, full PBR textures, and Optimized Mesh and Topology.
This is fan work.
